Mav Heatsaver Lining Paper is a budget-friendly 2mm thick polystyrene liner with fire retardants that offers basic insulation and tackles condensation issues to promote a healthier living space. For enhanced durability and a smoother finish, we suggest using an overlining such as Wallrock Fibreliner, known for its toughness and strength. While this product can effectively solve localized cold wall problems, it is not recommended for use in fire escape routes inside the home, unless treated with a fire retardant layer. It has a class E fire rating and should not be used for projects subject to Building Regulations, such as new builds and extensions. It is important to follow safety guidelines and seek expert advice when using this product as part of a system that provides insulation and fire protection. To significantly improve fire resistance, it can be cross-lined with Wallrock Fireliner.
